My Hope

When I heard the lyrics to this song, I thought of what have we done as a nation, a church, a community...what have I done?  What will matter?  Does the way I live point to the hope I have?  What can I do best to show my hope to others? 




What have we lost in the name of progress?
What have we gained in the wake of our success?
I don't want to live like this how can we live like this?

What have we done that will be remembered?
What have we built that is everlasting?
