Thank You
Remember. Honor. Be grateful for your freedoms.
Don't let the service, sacrifice, and deaths our military has made over the years, and now, be something that was done in vain. Fight with them to protect our freedoms.
Thank you to all service men and women, past, present, and future, and their families, for the sacrifices you have given to this country. You are appreciated, respected, and thought of with deepest honor and respect.

This was a unique Memorial Day for me, very touching. I spent the weekend at Ft Carson in Colorado where my cousin's son graduated from high school. He was accepted to West Point and leaves in a few weeks to start his time there. His dad (my cousin) is active Army and has been deployed many times. Sunday we visited a tank "museum" and memorial site at the main entrance to the base. As we were walking around the memorial my cousin's wife pointed out three names of men who served under my cousin and were killed his last deployment to Afghanistan. There's something very emotional about standing next to someone you love who saw men die defending our country and then to be celebrating with his son his choice to follow in those same footsteps.
