For those of you who may be new to reading this blog, I have been posting updates on Brandon Adam. He grew up in Sandpoint and was part of our youth program while he was in 5th and 6th grade. He is now 21. Brandon is in the army and was serving in Iraq, when he lost both legs in early May, due to a bomb. Here's the latest pictures of him.

Brandon is a true hero to me. I am so proud of him, his strength, courage and all his accomplishments. I am proud to know him and call him my best friend. -SSG Wall, John
I am so very proud of Brandon for serving our country and being the man he is. I started talking to his proud fatehre Doug (as we are both from the same High School) on classmates.com right before that tragic night of the bombing, and then when it happened I was so concerned as to what will be the future for Brandon. I now know that he is an extremly brave young man (and one of my heroes) and an extremely GOD-trusting Christian. I am still amazed at his courage and will to go on with life as best as possible and OBVIOUSLY never gave up!! It is quite a testimony to us all that no matter how we may fall, GOD will help us back up!! I salute Sgt. Brandon Adam!!
I can see the poem "Footprints" in his life. Now he will see that there is only one set, and that is the better life to live.
